The world is constantly evolving and, as new students complete their educational journey, a vast, wild world awaits them in the job market. A grad student's future, both academically and financially, rests on their ability to not only interact with potential employers and other scholars through email and social media, but also in the digital personas they create for themselves. Long story short: Developing a digital identity is increasingly more important for securing jobs in academics or in the business sector. But, how do you create a digital identity? What social media channels should students focus on? 

is a research assistant professor of digital humanities at Brigham Young University and contributor to the Chronicle of Higher Education's ProfHacker Teaching, Tech and Productivity series. In "A Crash Course on Digital Identities," Dr. Croxall speaks on managing digital identities through social media and other professional services, and offers best practices for getting yourself seen in a world of ones and zeroes.
