Biography

Dr. Jade Hernandez, DNP, RN is a nursing instructor and academic success coach in the College of Nursing and Health Sciences at the Âé¶¹Ò¹ÊÐ. 

She brings a strong clinical background in progressive care, cardiac telemetry, and acute care nursing into the classroom, where she focuses on helping students connect complex concepts to real-world practice. 

Dr. Hernandez has taught across undergraduate and graduate programs, with interests in clinical judgment development, student resiliency, and nursing education scholarship. Her work emphasizes supportive learning environments, evidence-based teaching strategies, and preparing students for both clinical practice and licensure success.
